Exhibition: Baumschatten

In the exhibition at Die gute Seite bookstore, Joris Bas Backer presents images from his new graphic novel Baumschatten, published by Edition Moderne. From a minor neighborhood conflict – the pros and cons of preserving a so-called "Nazi oak" in a Berlin schoolyard – Bas Backer distills a social panorama and an entire network of personal and social relationships, opinions and tensions.
