Description

Stories We Carry: Comics on Diaspora and Belonging brings together international comic and graphic novel artists whose works reflect on experiences of migration, diaspora, identity and belonging.

Through drawn narratives, sequences, and spatial elements, the exhibition explores what it means to live between languages, cultures, places and memories. The participating artists approach these themes from different personal and cultural perspectives, sharing stories that move between individual experience and broader social histories.

Presented as part of the Comic Invasion Berlin 2026 Focus Programme, the exhibition highlights the unique capacity of comics to connect artistic voices and perspectives across cultures.

A part of this event is kindly supported by LTI Korea (Literature Translation Institution Korea).
