Description

Daniela is autistic. Ever since her diagnosis, she wanted to draw a comic about what it's like to live, see and feel as an autistic person. Words alone were simply never enough. In her debut, “Schattenspringer”, she chronicles her childhood through to adulthood and shows the hurdles that have to be overcome and that non-autistic people don't even know exist. With empathy and authenticity, she explains how everyday life is shaped by being different. At the same time, readers will often recognize themselves in the situations she describes.

Daniela Schreiter will be signing books after the reading.
