Young-Rong Choo 추영롱

Young-Rong Choo (she/her) is a translator, cultural worker, and activist working between German, English, and Korean. Her translation work spans a wide range of genres, including academic and journalistic writing, film subtitles, and graphic novels. She is a three-time recipient of the Radial Fellowship from the German Translators Fund.

She has translated Ferngespräch and Madame Choi und die Monster into Korean and is currently working on additional German graphic novels that explore themes such as migration, queerness, and the Autistic Spectrum.

Born in Busan in 1987, she studied Philosophy and German Literature and has been based in Berlin since 2012.
