Keum Suk Gendry-Kim (김금숙, born April 9, 1971) (she/her)  is a South Korean graphic novelist known for her powerful black-and-white graphic narratives addressing history, war, memory, and marginalized voices. Her major works include Grass, My Friend Kim Jong-un, The Waiting, Tomorrow Is Another Day, Dog Days, The Naked Tree, Jun, Alexandra Kim the Siberian, The Song of My Father, and Jiseul. 

Her graphic novel Grass won the Harvey Award and received three Eisner Award nominations, and was named Best Graphic Novel by The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Washington Post. Her books have been translated into more than 40 languages and are internationally recognized for their historical and emotional depth.
